My Story
Hi everyone and welcome! I am genuinely glad you stopped by. Let me tell you a little about myself, how my business came about, and my background with animals.

I grew up on small hobby farms throughout BC and Alberta with my parents and 2 siblings. From a young age, I had an affinity for adopting and looking after hurt and injured "critters". Thankfully my parents were very understanding and supportive and usually let me keep my "pets" including the odd gopher despite them being a nuisance. As I grew so did my love of all things alive, I started packing around our barn cats at the age of 3 or 4 and babying them ... even the old tomcat that normally hated humans let me cart him around and love on him non-stop. I could walk into a pasture and sure enough, if there was a cow, horse, sheep, or any other animal in it they were drawn to me and I to them. In my pre-teens, I decided I wanted to be a vet and shadowed for a day. At the ripe old age of 10, it may not have been the wisest choice. Death, even humane death to a sensitive 10-year-old was too much! Thankfully it didn't curb my love for or desire to look after and care for animals in need. I continued to help care for our animals and our neighbors' animals as much as I could, absorbing knowledge and gaining experience the whole time.

As an adult, I have had many jobs including professional house cleaner, barn assistant, ticketed welder, and certified therapy assistant. I loved them all but none of them felt like home. I've always owned cats and dogs and then in 2021 as a family, we decided to start fostering rescues. I took on the bulk of the responsibilities as once again I gravitated to those that needed the most care. I have looked after puppies surviving parvo, and dogs that have had broken jaws, broken limbs, amputations, abscesses, and so much more. It breaks my heart the cruelty that the human race can inflict on helpless, innocent creatures. It brings me so much joy and fulfillment to know that I can do a small part to heal the fosters I take in and help find them their forever homes!

My fostering, love of all creatures big and small, farm background, and medical background are what ultimately led me to decide to start my business. I know that there are families out there that need a helping hand sometimes, whether it be with something as simple as a nail trim or bath for their loved pet or something much more like loving on and looking after their home and pet while they are away on vacation. The ultimate for me would be helping a family who may not have the knowledge or background that I do and just needs someone to step in and teach or look after their pet for them so they can take a break. Some pets (like my son) are special needs and require more care than others and that's okay with me! Just means more love to go around! With that in mind, I curated my business with you all in mind. I am here for you and your pets in whatever capacity you need me and I can help with it!
